Product Characteristics
The trunk system is a component located on the floor
and on the front, rear, left, and right walls in the
cargo area.
It has various functions according to the cargo to be
stored, such as wide space and rigidity for storing
heavy items such as golf bags, and appearance and
convenience for storing small items.
In hatchback and wagon type cars, where the cargo area
is connected to the interior of the car, the function
of soundproofing is also required.
Our Strengths
We are able to develop components simultaneously on a
system-by-system basis by utilizing our expertise in
not only designing components but also in planning and
developing the total cabin space together with
automobile manufacturers.
For example, the trunk trim (left and right) reduces
noise from tires, the trunk board (floor) is
lightweight and rigid, the trunk box (under the floor)
stores small items, and the tonneau cover (top)
blindfolds and protects cargo. The entire trunk system
contributes to user comfort and convenience.
In addition, the use of fiber materials, a particular
strength of our company, leads to sound absorption and
weight reduction, thereby contributing to fuel and
electricity costs and the environment.
